Solwezi has cheap plots in abundance. Bumuntu sells something else: titled state land, surveyed and beaconed, inside gated estates with tarred roads, street lighting, drainage and managed common areas, at published prices that step up with each release and never move for anyone. Copper Ridge for families, Urban Heights for the premium address beside the lake and hotel precinct, the Industrial Park for the businesses the copper economy drives past every day.
Built only by Bumuntu. Every building on our estates is put up by Bumuntu's own construction team or by subcontractors we have vetted and accredited. Nobody else builds on the estates, which is how one standard of workmanship on every plot keeps the whole estate's value rising.
Three questions people ask first
Is the land titled? +
Yes. Each estate sits on state land held by Bumuntu under a 99-year lease, surveyed and registered. Your plot is subdivided from that title and you receive your own certificate of title in your name; the cost of processing it is included in the price.
Can I pay over time? +
Yes. A deposit secures the plot and the balance can be paid over 6, 12, 24 or 36 months. Every payment is receipted in your Bumuntu account and credited to your plot.
Can I use my own builder? +
No, and that is the point. Bumuntu or Bumuntu-accredited subcontractors build every home and every industrial unit, to the estate design code, with milestone inspections. It is what protects the value of the plot you are buying.
